What research shows

Cortexin's evidence sits almost entirely in Russian clinical research: randomized studies in circulatory encephalopathy and chronic cerebral ischaemia, plus reviews describing the brain-derived preparation. Independent replication outside that literature was not verified, and it holds no authorisation in the regulators covered here.
